Hyde Park, London
You’ll totally forget you’re in the heart of London in this magnificent park – one of the largest parks in London as well as one of eight Royal Parks. An oasis of tranquility, teeming with trees, ornamental flower gardens, the Serpentine recreational lake and two lakeside restaurants, Hyde Park attracts many people. You can enjoy cycling, skating, boating and swimming. The members of the Serpentine Swimming Club swim in the lake all year round – come rain or shine! Yes – even in those freezing cold winter months! Not advisable but extremely brave, nevertheless. Naturally, we would highly recommend a warm Peachy sensual massage during the Big Freeze!
If you’re out and about on a Sunday, do head to Speaker’s Corner, where you’ll hear London’s most opinionated orators express their views. Speakers may air their opinions on any subject, as long as the police consider their speeches lawful and excessive profanity is not used.
